Is there a special someone who you just love to run with? Who makes each and every kilometre just that little bit easier?
Running as part of a pair is not only more fun – you can go further than you ever thought possible with a good friend by your side.
To help you harness the positive power of pairs, the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K is a brand new virtual running event that can only be run as a pair. We want to see #TwoRunAsOne.
The event will give runners the opportunity to go the extra mile to support a charity close to Lucozade Sport's heart, Women in Sport, and the fantastic work they do to support women to be more active.
About the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K
The concept is simple: you just need to run 10K on Sunday 12 September with another person.
You can run your 10K at any time from 00:00 to 23:59:29 BST, from wherever you are on that day. We’d love to see you running together – but if circumstances are keeping you apart you could even run at the same time but in different locations. The main thing is that you run together and support each other throughout your Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K journey.
Once you’ve completed your 10K and logged your times with us (more on this below), we’ll send you both a medal to mark your achievement.
Entry into the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K is just £10 per person (additional postage charges will apply internationally), with the option to make a £5 donation to the charity Women in Sport.

Reusable Lucozade Sport Bottle: the perfect companion for your training
When training for an event – especially during summer! – it’s crucial to keep well hydrated. So, we’ll be offering everyone who enters the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K a one-litre reusable (and recyclable) Lucozade Sport bottle. It will be sent to you both along with your running bibs before the event. You’ll be able to use your bottles to make sure you are well hydrated before you start exercising, while out on your training runs, during your recovery and for the event itself.
Please note: if you enter the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K after 17:00 on Tuesday 31 August you may not receive your reusable, recyclable Lucozade Sport bottle and running number until after the event. However, you will be able to download a running number to print and wear on Event Day should you wish to do so.

Who would you like to run the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K with? It might be someone you run with every day, someone you’d like to inspire to be more active, or a friend you haven’t see for a while who you’d like to reconnect with.
SIGN UP: Register
You’ll need to sign up and create your team of two via the button below. Once you’ve secured your place, we’ll send you a confirmation email. This email will contain a password that you’ll need to forward to your prospective running partner so they can sign up too.
If you’re here because someone has invited you to run with them, all you need to do is click the button below and enter the team name and password they sent you to log in, sign up and pay for your place.

Once you’re both signed up, we’ll send you your reusable (and recyclable) Lucozade Sport bottles and running bibs, so the fun can really begin. You can use your bottles before, during and after exercise to ensure you are well hydrated. With your hydration covered you can concentrate on what you do best – working together as a team of two to motivate each other from now until 12 September.

Support Women in Sport
Did you know that 39 per cent of women said losing fitness through lockdown would have a long-term impact on their lives?
The charity Women in Sport is determined to change this and ensure all women experience the joy, fulfilment and lifelong benefits of physical activity.
Our aim is to inspire activity, and Lucozade Sport works with the England Lionesses to make their voices heard across the nation – making Women in Sport a perfect partner for the Lucozade Sport Virtual 10K. If you’d like to donate £5 to the charity you’ll be helping Women in Sport to:
- break stubborn inequalities that exist in society with its leading insight and research
- campaign to narrow the gender gap in sport and exercise
- innovate the ways that schools, leisure facilities and communities engage women in sport
- inspire and empower women to be healthier, happier and stronger
